Abstract

Burnout is a situation that is likely to occur in every occupational group. It is argued that burnout is not only related to the physical and mental health of the person, but also to the working conditions and demographic characteristics of the individual. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the working conditions of the employees and their burnout levels. A total of 245 people participated in this study. Demographic characteristics, working conditions scale and burnout scale were used to reach the study data. In order to determine the relationship between burnout and working conditions with demographic characteristics, non-parametric tests have been used to analyze the data. In order to determine the relationship between burnout and working conditions spearman correlation analysis has been used. In the study, it was determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between the demands of the sub-dimensions of working conditions and burnout levels. In this context, it is important for employers to consider factors such as competence and workload while determining their demands and expectations from employees.The details are submitted in the findings section of the study.
