Abstract

It is very important to know the fertilization process of the ovum, the ovum’s structure and function of each substance involved in these processes for the development of biotechnological methods in human and animal reproduction. Proteins, peptides, polysaccharides, lipids, and ions in the structure of the seminal plasma play a very special role in the regulation of the fertilization process, and has ability to bind. It has been reported that the fertilization abilities of plasma proteins are associated with durability of spermatozoon. plasma proteins are associated with the fertilization abilities and endurance of spermatozoon. It is aimed to provide information about the proteins found on the spermatozoon surface originating from the seminal plasma and thought to be associated with fertility in this review study.
