In this study, various approaches were investigated and exemplified to provide primary school students with interest and skills in applied sciences. The first method utilized for three different experiments relies on the field of Astronomy. It teaches about the “real and apparent movements of the Sun, Earth, and Moon, and the consequences of these movements”. The second experiment employs the principles of Chemistry, focusing on teaching about density (distinctive properties of matter). The final experiment falls within the domain of electrochemistry. It investigates the formation of hydrogen and oxygen gas through electrolysis in a two-electrode system. According to the obtained results, there was no significant difference observed between the pre-test scores of the experimental and control groups (p > 0.05). However, there was a statistically significant difference observed between their post-test scores (p < 0.05).
