Abstract

Landscapes differ from each other with their cultural characteristics. Music is one of the values that create/affect culture, as well as ecological environment/geography and architectural structure. The music of a society is formed by being influenced by the environment in which it is lived. It is possible to say that this interaction is mutual. Music is accepted as the most effective art on the individuals who make up the society. Landscape design studies; It is known that it has ecological, functional and aesthetic concerns. At the same time, the studies appeal to the senses of the individuals who make up the society. Music is also an important element that will affect the sensory perceptions of individuals if it is included in landscape design studies. In the study, the place and effect of music in landscape design studies were evaluated from the perspective of landscape architecture, through domestic and foreign examples.
